Welcome to Scope Usage Meter (“we”, “our”, or “us”).
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ScopeUsageMeter.com (the “Service”) operated by CodePixelfy, LLC.

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Use of the Service

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Scope Usage Meter.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
• You may not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

2. Account Management

• Freelancers and Agencies may create client accounts through the Service.
• Business Clients may access projects shared with them securely.
• You agree not to impersonate others or provide false information.

3. Subscription and Payments

• Scope Usage Meter offers paid subscription plans.
• All billing and payment transactions are processed securely via Stripe.
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue subscription plans at any time.

4. Project Data and Client Trust

• Once a project is locked and confirmed by a Client, it cannot be modified except for logging usage progress.
• We maintain safeguards to ensure project integrity and data protection.

5. Confidential Mode & Data Encryption

• Confidential Mode allows encryption of project titles, descriptions, and scope items for enhanced privacy.
• Encrypted data is secured using AES encryption and can only be decrypted by authorized users such as the project owner and assigned clients.
• Unauthorized users accessing shared projects will see placeholder text (e.g., "[Encrypted Project]") instead of real data.
• Each project uses a unique encryption key derived from a master key, which is securely stored on the server and never exposed.
• No decrypted content is permanently logged or stored. You are responsible for managing access and enabling Confidential Mode as appropriate.

6. Intellectual Property

• Scope Usage Meter and its original content, features, and functionality are the exclusive property of CodePixelfy, LLC.
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service.

7. Termination

• We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
